REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Manuela Flawless Micropigmentation Studio & Academy, we value our clients and understand that life can be unpredictable. As a small business offering specialised, time-sensitive treatments, the following policies are in place to ensure fairness, sustainability, and the highest level of service for all clients.

 

By booking an appointment, purchasing a package, or redeeming a gift voucher, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

APPOINTMENTS & DEPOSITS

  • All appointments may require a deposit to secure the booking.

  • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • Deposits may be transferred once to a future appointment if cancellation terms are met.

  • Failure to attend or late cancellations may result in loss of deposit.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

We understand that emergencies happen and aim to be accommodating where possible.

  • ​A minimum of 48 hours’ (during working hours) notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. For Monday Appointments Notice needs to be given by Thursday as we may not receive it over the weekend.

  • Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the appointment may result in loss of deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours, or failure to attend your appointment (no-shows), will result in:

    • Loss of deposit

    • Possible requirement of full payment upfront for future bookings

  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

LATE ARRIVALS

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or cancelled.

  • If the appointment cannot proceed safely or effectively due to late arrival, it will be treated as a no-show, and the deposit will be forfeited.

REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of our services:

  • No refunds are offered on:

    • Permanent makeup treatments

    • Paramedical procedures

    • Laser hair removal

    • Laser tattoo removal

    • Aesthetic treatments

    • Training courses, masterclasses, or workshops

  • Results vary between individuals due to skin type, lifestyle, medical history, and aftercare compliance.

  • Dissatisfaction based on personal preference does not constitute grounds for a refund.

PACKAGES & PREPAID SERVICES

  • All treatment packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Packages must be used within the specified validity period.

  • Missed sessions or delayed intervals may compromise results and are the client’s responsibility.

  • Laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal packages require adherence to recommended treatment frequency for optimal results.

GIFT VOUCHER / EGIFT CARD  POLICY

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash.

  • Gift vouchers are non-transferable and may only be used by the person named on the voucher (unless otherwise stated).

  • Gift vouchers must be redeemed within the validity period stated on the voucher.

  • Expired vouchers will not be honoured.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase other gift vouchers.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for training courses unless explicitly stated.

  • If an appointment booked using a gift voucher is cancelled late or missed, the voucher may be deemed redeemed and forfeited.

  • Any remaining balance after redemption must be used within the voucher validity period.

TOUCH-UPS & RESULTS

  • Touch-ups, where applicable, are not complimentary unless explicitly stated.

  • Healing, pigment retention, and final results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Failure to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions may affect results and void any touch-up consideration.

MEDICAL & SUITABILITY DISCLOSURE

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate medical history.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

  • No refunds will be issued if a treatment is halted due to undisclosed medical conditions or contraindications.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone for reasons including, but not limited to: 

  • Contraindications

  • Unrealistic expectations

  • Repeated no-shows or policy violations

  • Abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour

CHANGES TO POLICY

Manuela Flawless Micropigmentation Studio & Academy reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
