TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Manuela Flawless Micropigmentation Studio & Academy T/A Manuela (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, bookings, treatments, packages, gift vouchers, retail purchases, training programs, and any services provided by us. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, purchasing a product, package, or voucher, or receiving any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms

1. SERVICES OFFERED

We provide the following services (among others):

• Permanent makeup (PMU Brows, Lips, Eyeliner)

• Paramedical tattooing (scar camouflage, areola restoration, medical pigmentation)

• Laser hair removal

• Laser tattoo removal

• Aesthetic treatments

• Training programs and masterclasses

 

All treatments are performed by trained professionals in a controlled clinical environment.

2.  BOOKINGS, CONSULTATIONS & DEPOSITS

  • Some treatments require a consultation prior to booking.

  • Appointments must be secured through our booking system.

  • A deposit may be required and is non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • Deposits may be transferred once if cancellation terms are met.

3. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & LATE ARRIVALS

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations within 24–48 hours may result in loss of deposit.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, will forfeit deposits and may require future bookings to be paid in full upfront.

  • Late arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may result in shortened or cancelled appointments.

4. REFUND POLICY (SERVICES)

Due to the nature of cosmetic, medical-aesthetic, and training services:

 

  • No refunds are provided for:
     

    • Any treatments once performed

    • Deposits

    • Packages

    • Gift vouchers

    • Training courses or workshops

  •  

  • Results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Failure to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions voids any corrective consideration.

  • Refunds will not be granted due to personal dissatisfaction, pain tolerance, scheduling conflicts, or changes of mind.

5. RETAIL PRODUCT SALES & RETURNS

  • All retail products are sold in sealed condition where applicable.

  • For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used products are non-returnable and non-refundable.

  • Unopened and unused products may be exchanged or refunded within 7 days of purchase, provided proof of purchase is supplied and packaging remains intact.

  • Refunds or exchanges will not be granted for products damaged due to misuse, incorrect storage, allergic reaction, or failure to follow product instructions.

  • We reserve the right to refuse product returns that do not meet hygiene or safety standards.

6. PACKAGES & PREPAID SERVICES

  • All packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.

  • Packages must be used within the validity period.

  • Missed sessions or delayed intervals may affect results and remain the client’s responsibility.

7. GIFT VOUCHER POLICY

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.

  • Vouchers are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.

  • Vouchers must be redeemed within the stated validity period.

  • Expired vouchers will not be honoured.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows using a voucher may result in forfeiture of the voucher.

8. LASER HAIR REMOVAL & LASER PACKAGE POLICY

Laser hair removal requires commitment, consistency, and correct treatment intervals for optimal hair follicle reduction. By purchasing a laser package or commencing treatment, you acknowledge the following:

Package Commitment

  • Once a laser package has been purchased and treatment has commenced, the package cannot be altered, downgraded, split, exchanged, or substituted for other areas or services.

  • Packages are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.

 

Treatment Frequency & Compliance

  • Treatment sessions must be completed at the recommended intervals to effectively target hair growth cycles.

  • Skipped, delayed, or irregular sessions may compromise results and do not warrant refunds, extensions, or credits.

Pain Tolerance & Patch Testing

  • Individual pain tolerance varies.

  • Clients concerned about sensitivity or discomfort must request a patch test prior to commencing treatment.

  • If a client proceeds without a patch test and later finds the treatment uncomfortable or intolerable, sessions will not be credited, refunded, or transferred.

  • Discomfort does not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or modification of packages.

Medical Suitability

  • Clients are responsible for disclosing medical conditions, medications, or skin sensitivities.

  • Treatments may be postponed or refused if deemed unsafe, without refund entitlement.

9. PRE-PROCEDURE & AFTERCARE COMPLIANCE

Clients must follow all provided pre-procedure and aftercare instructions. Failure to comply may result in suboptimal results, complications, or voided corrective options.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, branding, training material, imagery, and written content remain the intellectual property of Manuela Flawless Micropigmentation Studio & Academy and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We do not guarantee specific outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from services rendered.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

13. POLICY UPDATES

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on our website.
